- How do I order and pay for design services at Bayton Design?
- Simply choose the item you'd like to purchase, add it to you shopping cart and fill out our order form giving as many details on your design preferences and company image as possible. You will then be directed to a secure payment option page where you can choose either PayPal option or Credit Card payment.
- Are the payment transaction secure?
- Yes, we do everything to protect our customers' security and use only trusted payment processors such as PayPal or 2checkout. We do not collect your Credit Card information and we do not make the transactions ourselves.
- I cannot pay with a credit card online. Do you accept payments any other way?
- If you prefer other means than credit card payments online, we also accept PayPal, Western Union and bank transfer. Please contact our manager for details.
- What is a usual payment plan?
- For most projects we require a 50% deposit that is to be made before the design process begins. The rest of the sum is paid upon completion when you approve the project as final. However, several items in our price list (such as Flash Animation) require an upfront payment made in full, because while doing the animation we send the final animated files as preview samples.
- Can the payment be divided into several parts?
- Usually the payment is divided into 2 parts -a deposit payment and a balance payment. However, for projects above $1500 a special payment plan can be developed, when payments are divided into 3 or more transactions. Contact our manager for more info.
- What if I decide to cancel my order?
- Well, such situations are very rare at Bayton Design. You can cancel your order if you'd like. We won't ask you to make the balance payment then.
- What is your refund policy?
- The initial fee is non-refundable and covers the costs of order processing, creation and development time, intellectual and proprietary materials utilized on developmental stages.

- I am in a different country. Can I order design services from you?
- Thanks to the World Wide Web, your location is not a problem any more. We have worked with clients from Central Asia and Africa, Australia, Europe and both Americas. The bulk of communication is by e-mail anyway, so in terms of service it doesn't matter where you are. We can reflect national peculiarities in the design, when needed, though.
- How will I communicate with your design team?
- After we receive your order, a dedicated account manager who is completely responsible for your project will be the contact person to answer any of your questions. Most communications will go between you and the manager via email, since as our experience shows written form makes it easier to trace back the info if needed. Regular phone conversations with your manager are possible as well.
- I can hardly imagine the so called design process you mentioned. Could you give me a few ideas?
- Whichever Bayton Design service you choose, we start with studying your company, its image, target audience, marketing goals and competitors to offer you the most effective solution possible. We also pay much attention to your own design preferences. That is why any design process at Bayton Design starts with discussion. When we have a clear picture, we start working and in a couple of business days we offer you our design solutions for you to look through and provide us with a very detailed feedback on what exact features you like/dislike in the samples. As soon as we get your critics, we either revise the suggested samples or prepare a new set of mockups. When you choose a sample and approve it as the final, we prepare a proof version of it. This could be a PDF printable file when we speak about a logo project for example, or a HTML-coded website in a preview mode. It depends on a project. When you ratify the proof version, we proceed with your final files.
- What is my role in the design process?
- Design process is a closest collaboration between a client and designers. That is why you play your leading role and can rule the process by your feedback.
- What is the time frame for an average design project?
- It depends on a complexity of your project and on you. A project is more likely to be completed sooner if you provide us with a very detailed feedback and email us back frequently. An average project could take from a week to several months.
- When will I see the first designs?
- You will see the first designs within 3-5 business days (depending on a project) after we receive your creative brief and deposit payment.
- During the design process, how will I be able to view the designs in progress and how will the final formats be delivered?
- Your account manager will be emailing the samples to you during creative process. Your final files will either be emailed to you or uploaded to the secure area of Bayton Design website. You'll be given a link to download your final pack then.
- What exactly is a design concept and how is it different from a revision?
- A concept is one of the initial designs our designers suggest as an example of directions for your logo/stationery/website etc, basing on the information you have provided about your company and preferences and our experience in design trends. A revision is an edit of the suggested design based on your feedback and/or instructions. A revision session is a number of revisions performed at a time.
- Do you keep a copy of my files after my project is closed and you have forwarded them to me?
- Yes, we do. We keep a backup of our client's logo, stationery, website etc just in case. If, for any reason you ever need another copy of your files, please don't hesitate to contact us.
However, we suggest that you also keep a backup copy of the logo format just in case something happens. You should copy them on several diskettes, or burn them to a CD for your own backup.
- Who keeps rights to the company promotional items including logo designed by Bayton Design?
- After the final payment the copyright to your promotional materials is automatically transferred to you. You can then register your logo as a trademark, if you wish. In our turn we keep the rights to use any and all content developed by us regardless of ownership, for display and self-promotional purposes.

- What do you charge for your logo design services?
- We have developed two basic logo design packages. The $499 includes a limited amount of designs and revisions and is meant for companies with tighter budget and those who have a quite clear idea of the logo they are after. The $799 package offers unlimited amount of designs and revisions and if perfect if you prefer to have all the freedom in the options to choose from.
- Why are other logo designs offered at $149 or even $99?
- Some logo designers use recycled designs, clip art, or get inspiration from existing designs. At Bayton Design, we only allow ourselves to create unique, one-of-a-kind designs for our clients. Plus, the $799 package includes all possible modifications and as many new concepts as you require without any additional charges. We are sure you'll be happy with our services.
- I am not sure what kind of logo I want. Can you help me?
- You've found the right company! Our experience in design and knowledge of the market allow us to march in step with the latest design trends for particular branches of industry at the same time eliciting and presenting unique advantages of your company through the visual identity. Using our Order or Contact form, tell as much as you can about your company and goals and we will get back to you with thoughts and suggestions for your business as well as further questions that will help us draw out more information. We will together define a general direction for our search and then offer you graphically implemented ideas within the direction.
- I know exactly what I want for a logo. Can you design it for me?
- Absolutely. Implementing your idea visually is always a pleasure for us, though we are ready to present our own suggestions if needed. Describe the image you are looking for or e-mail us a very rough draft and watch it developed into a professionally designed logo.
- I already have a logo, what can you do to enhance it?
- Yes. Please e-mail us the logo you are currently using and we will discuss what can be done to jazz it up.
- Can you recreate my existing logo in vector format?
- Of course, but the price very much depends on the complexity of the existing design. Send us an email with a copy of the logo you need to recreate and we will provide you with a quote for your particular logo.
- How long does it take before I can see my samples of company logos?
- Generally it takes us 3 business days to prepare the first set of designs for your review. However, we prefer to sacrifice time to quality and may require additional time to prepare a better selection of designs. In this case, our account manager will contact you to make sure you can allow us the time. Revisions generally take 2 business days. In the unlikely case the particular revisions you requested required more time, our account manager will notify you.
All in all, the whole process usually takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks, depending on the number of revisions required, as well as the frequency of your feedback.
- How many designs will you offer me?
- Initially, you will be offered 3-4 concepts with 1-2 variations of each of them. You can then choose one or several concepts to keep working with and provide us with the description of changes you would like to be performed to make the designs we offered better reflect your company character and your design preferences. Each revision session may include as many variants of the same concept as you request. Thus, on average, our clients receive at least between 20 and 30 designs, including different concepts and variations of them.
- What if I don't like any of initial logo designs?
- If none of the concepts we suggested seems to fit your requirements, you can request more concepts, explaining to us why you think the designs we offered do not work for you. We are very responsive to feedback and the more information you provide us with, the more targeted concepts we will be able to offer you on the next step.
Depending on the package, you are either limited to 6 concepts or can request as many concepts as is necessary for you to choose the variant of logo your company is going to have.
- Where will I be able to use my logo?
- Once the design is approved and the balance is paid, you will receive a number of formats of your logo. The formats cover most if not all possible uses of a logo - professional and office printing, TV production, web and use in MS Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. You will also receive the source files for future modification and professional design of any of your marketing materials.
The formats you will receive your logo in are:

- None of the logos that appear in your portfolio apply to my company. Can you design something different?
- We have created logos that work successfully for hundreds of companies around the world. If you don't see a logo that would be suitable for your particular company, it is because all of the logos were created to requirements of a specific company. Also only a tiny fraction of the logos we have created is displayed in our portfolio. Please contact us with information on the type of company you need a logo for or description of the style you are after and we will e-mail you examples of more fitting logos.
- I can't find some of the companies you display in your portfolio or they have a different logo on their website. Why?
- Some of the companies ordering logos with us do not start to use their logo or the new company name right away. It also usually takes a while for them to replace or integrate the new logo on their website. Moreover, as designers we reserve the right to display those logo designs in our portfolio that we find more attractive, no matter if they were the final variant a client chose.
